T. Scot Clausing is a husband, developer, designer, analyst, photographer & dual-sport motorcycle rider (sold, but I do ride a unicycle offroad) in Nashville, TN (Gallatin).

Engineering seems to be a hereditary trait … Mom: ChemE; Dad: ME, PE; Sister: Engineering Physics; Myself: Computer Science; Mom’s Dad: EE; Dad’s Dad: ME. There’s more, but you get the idea. I grew up in a world of nerds and somehow developed a passion for creating engaging desktop and web applications.

I have been developing interactive charting and reporting software for five years. In that time I’ve had wonderful experiences creating data trending software for US Playing Card, Kohl’s & EyeMed and performing data collection, analysis and reporting for an extensive list of companies including Kroger, Sonoco, Seagram’s, Schwan’s, JTM & Kellogg’s.

While I enjoy user interface and component design my real passion is in the code. I love design patterns and frameworks. The Flex framework and Flex Builder have made a dream come true - simple interface and component design with an excellent IDE for ActionScript 3. Rich application development has never been so productive.
